WHY RYSE SON OF ROME IS COMING TO PC

In an interview with Eurogamer, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli discussed its control over the Ryse IP and the company's ongoing financial concerns. Yerli said Crytek is not all that happy with Xbox one sales. "So we want to wait till the current gen and next gen catches up."

While many had assumed that Ryse: Son of Rome would remain an Xbox One exclusive, Yerli clarified that Crytek has always maintained control over the IP. "Ryse is our IP. We do what we want to do with the future of Ryse. This is important." When asked about the IP appearing on the PlayStation one day, Yerli repeated, "We can do whatever we want with it with whoever we want."
